For the Addict in You...

I cannot wait until SATC 2 is released. Fashion seems so boring now as compared to two three years ago when the show was on the air. Now it seems everyone is back to "LA Chic" and I have nothing against L.A. I'm from California, actually, so it hurts me to have to admit that. (I actually need to state for the record that I'm from California, but Paris is my hometown, lol.) I am just so bored by the lack of effort by everyone. Celebrities even dress down to premieres now. And EVERYONE is dressed by a stylist. It's all just so depressing...Where is the individuality? The innovation? The excitement? I am only 25 and I'm longing for the good ol' years...this is just sad. SJP Forever!!!!

Ne-yo: Part of the List Music Video

These are a few screencaps from Ne-Yo's new video: Part of the List. I have always loved the song, as I think it's one of the most beautiful and sincere to come from an R&B artist in a while. After seeing the video, I am in complete love. Not only because it appears to be shot in my birth country, Germany, or somewhere near there, such as the Czech Republic or Serbia and Montenegro (I am dying to visit there as I think it is one of the worlds most naturally beautiful countries), but just because it is so pared down and I can truely relate to this one. The bridges in the background makes me think it's shot in Prague, which is even more of a bonus (so beautiful there). Please, if you get a chance, check it out on youtube and let me know what you think (link below).
They're all part of the list.
Things that I miss.
Things like your funny little laugh
Or the way you smile or the way we kiss.
What I've noticed is this:
I come up with something new
every single time that
I sit and reminisce.

Elegy - Ben Kingsley and Penelope Cruz

This is the most beautiful movie I have ever seen. I advise everyone to see it. It made me fall in love with filmmaking again. Ben and Penelope are brilliant in this film - absolutely. The movie is actually based on a book by one of my favorite writers: Phillip Roth - "The Dying Animal". After I finished the movie I immediately went to Borders Books and bought "The Human Stain", another of his books. Really, if you love literary art, which I do, buy one of his books and read it. You will not be dissipointed. His work is utterly inspiring - it made me want to pick up the pen again, something I haven't done in at least a year or so.
