I was watching an interview with Baz Luhrmann when I decided to finally post this video. This is the commercial Nicole Kidman did for Chanel back in 2004/2005, and it still facinates me the same way now that it did then. So completely beautiful.

PFW: Gareth Pugh Fall/Winter 10.11

This is the first collection I've loved thus far (for F/W 10.11). I am so happy PFW has finally kicked off.

Gareth is such an underrated desginer, I feel. I'm finding myself loving any and everthing he creates. In the video I'ves posted from Style.com, Time Blanks describes this collection as edgy and glamorous, which I totally agree with.

My love for this collection is making me wonder if I am moving towards a moodier, darker sense of style. I think this is the direction in general fashion might be moving in...we'll see. I hope not though. The last thing I want to see is everyone dressing in goth.

It's so tragic what happened between Rihanna and Chris. I do not, in any way, condone what Chris did to her, but I am also a hopeless romantic, and I would like to think that sometime in the future they can reconnect and recapture the thing that they were when they were together. Maybe in another couple of years, when they're both older. What's meant to be, will be. They both need to grow up a little before that can happen, however.

On another note, I LOOOOOVE Chris' style in this video. When I first saw this, this morning actually, I thought he was rocking a pair of Tom Ford eyeglasses, but there is no "T" on the sides, so I guess not. Whatever they are, they're hott! Plus the leather trench and jeans...he looks amazing, like a model, which is odd because I never really thought of him as attractive prior to today. I like stylish guys, lol. But I'm not saying I like him, just that I can understand his appeal, now.

Anyway, I find this to be an extremely sincere video, and I really hope that he get's the help that he needs. I truly think that he is an honest human being who did a horrible, horrible thing. From now on I will judge him based on his future efforts and not what he did in the past. That is between He and Rihanna, and really, only GOD can judge.

I love the video start to finish. The lyrics, the style, the dancing, especially the part with this little boy, and the part at the end in the desert. Plus this video features Cassie, so how could I not love it? I LOVE her!

Wow. I am absolutely losing my mind. It's moments like these that remind me of the simple truth that je suis amoureux avec le mode. This commercial is very Tom Ford for YSL...but, dare I say it, better. How is that possible. It has the uber-sexiness of a Ford campain but the softness and the texture of Pilati. I truly, with my whole heart, love YSL. It's just the most beautiful, sophisticated, intelligent and overwhelming sexy label there is out there. It isn't for every woman, but it's most definitely for me. R.I.P. Laurent.
