The Chanel J12

I know the J12 is practically old news at this point...but I still want one. They're so classy, which I love. Classy with an edge - my style exactly. I'm going to make it my one year goal.

The Fantasy Wish List

#7: Macbook Air

So this is my first offcial post for the month of December, which I regret. December is just one of those months, when everything with everyone is going on. My apologies. Hopefully I get inspired enough to get at least 20 or so interesting posts by the months end. We'll see.

Anyway, I wanted to do a quick post on the Macbook Air. The MBA is an ultra portable, which I have been debating upon for the last year of so. It is almost paper thin, and are housed in these ultra chic leather "envelopes", which makes it extremely appealing to me. Yet, as with everything, there are a few downsides. One of which, the one that causes me the most anxiety, is the non-expandable 2GB memory. I still think it's worth the risk, however, especially since I have a desktop. We shall see.

If anyone actually owns a Macbook Air, you're insight would be appreciated.

The Fantasy Wish List

#6: Weekend Stay at Hotel Fasano, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil
Anyone would be both excited and appreciative for a gift like this. Situalted right on the beach, this new hotel is a little slice of paradise...right on the equator. Close to the best shopping Rio has to offer, the hotel boasts a design profile by none other than Phillip Stark. Does it get any more posh? I don't think so. Hotel Fasano - experience the best.
Approx $470/night.

#4: A Pair of Luxury Leggings a la Emanuelle Alt
Ok, I am dyyyyying for a pair of leather leggings. It's all I want at this point. They are the chicest things in the world...both Christmas and my birthday fall in December, so I think I am going to buy myself a pair as a "thank you for being awsome" gift...because let's face it...no one in my family would even think to buy me a pair of these...except my brother, now that I'm thinking about it. He knows me all too well. Anyway, the first pair are by the ever-amazing Maison Martin Mariegla, for about $2k. The middle pair are by Siwy, and they retail for $228. The third pair are by Fendi, and are roughly $1900. Below: Armani Exchange offers a pair that are not asssssss desireable, but are only $295. The last pair are by Alice & Olivia, and go for $330.

The Fantasy Wish List

#3: Anything by Christian Louboutin.
That's right. Any girl in her right, stylish mind would flip over a pair of Louboutins. It is the one item that is essentially go to. It is a fail safe. So, say it's December 24th, 4:15pm, and your losing your mind because you know every store in your city is about to close up for the holiday, and you STILL haven't bought that perfect little gift for that irreplaceable woman in your life (tisk, tisk...). No need to worry. Just head over to the closest Barney's or Neiman Marcus and pick out a pair...any pair will do. Good luck!

This bracelate is both minimal and contemporary, yet classic and sophisticated, which makes this piece extremely versatile. You can always count on Alexis Bittar to come with something unique, but this little treasure is a steal at just under $400.
