As The Winter Season Approaches...

I've definately started to feel the chill here in Seattle. It's getting colder and colder with every passing day. More and more I'm finding myself browsing through the Barnes & Nobel's Downtown, in search of a new book to curl up with, or tucked away in one of the many Starbucks that plague our city...in a good way. A God given way, even. My Friday and Saturday nights are dedicated to this activity. The rain, the snow, the coffee. These are a few of the things I've grown to love about this city.

Normally Winter is my absolute favorite season...but this year I know it's going to be bitter. The one thought that has been resounding in my mind..."I just wish things were different". It's inescapable. The absense of you haunts me like you could never imagine. Nothing is the same.

The streets seem to mirror the emptiness I feel within. The sounds of this city are nullified yet the rain pours with an intensity I find hard to believe.

For the first time in all of my time here, I feel at home inside this city. I recognize it's emotions are the same as my own. Empty, haunted, passionate, and wild.

YSL Heels

Hello everyone. I know I haen't been blogging recently, but the truth is...I'm a little uninspired at the moment. I should be back in top form soon, though. In the meantime, I wanted to do a quick blog about YSL pumps. The shoes to the right still make me lose my composure everytime I seem them. Sometimes, if I'm having a superiorly cruddy day, such as today, I'll whip this out and look at it. It serves as a reminder of everything I'm working for. Take care and have a greater day!

She Makes Me Want to Try Harder

So this picture is from the set of Rihanna's new music video, currently being shot in NYC. This has been an absolutely difficult year for Ri, and yet, here she is ready to get back out there and give it another go. Based on the paparazzi pictures of her shooting her album cover in Berlin, and now these, I can tell that this new chapter in her life is going to be absolutely fashion forward. I love that she takes fashion so seriously. Yes, she may be dressed by a stylist, but you can tell that she believe 100% in everything she wears. Something doesn't have to originate from you for you to love it as much as it's creator. I think people need to understand that and stop critisizing her for it. Cheers to Ri, and cheers to Fashion.
