#7: Macbook Air
So this is my first offcial post for the month of December, which I regret. December is just one of those months, when everything with everyone is going on. My apologies. Hopefully I get inspired enough to get at least 20 or so interesting posts by the months end. We'll see.
Anyway, I wanted to do a quick post on the Macbook Air. The MBA is an ultra portable, which I have been debating upon for the last year of so. It is almost paper thin, and are housed in these ultra chic leather "envelopes", which makes it extremely appealing to me. Yet, as with everything, there are a few downsides. One of which, the one that causes me the most anxiety, is the non-expandable 2GB memory. I still think it's worth the risk, however, especially since I have a desktop. We shall see.
If anyone actually owns a Macbook Air, you're insight would be appreciated.

I love this. This is the entrance to the Louis Vuitton Flagship in Beijing, China. I hope one day I am lucky enough to have my own flagship. Until then, I am researching ideas.bdf

Leica camera's are some of the best. I'm so used to the safety that Cannon and Nikon offer, but I feel like I want to think out of the box a little, and get a Leica. Leica's seem so classic, and you're not going to run into tons of people who have one, which makes them unique.

It's so tragic what happened between Rihanna and Chris. I do not, in any way, condone what Chris did to her, but I am also a hopeless romantic, and I would like to think that sometime in the future they can reconnect and recapture the thing that they were when they were together. Maybe in another couple of years, when they're both older. What's meant to be, will be. They both need to grow up a little before that can happen, however.
On another note, I LOOOOOVE Chris' style in this video. When I first saw this, this morning actually, I thought he was rocking a pair of Tom Ford eyeglasses, but there is no "T" on the sides, so I guess not. Whatever they are, they're hott! Plus the leather trench and jeans...he looks amazing, like a model, which is odd because I never really thought of him as attractive prior to today. I like stylish guys, lol. But I'm not saying I like him, just that I can understand his appeal, now.
Anyway, I find this to be an extremely sincere video, and I really hope that he get's the help that he needs. I truly think that he is an honest human being who did a horrible, horrible thing. From now on I will judge him based on his future efforts and not what he did in the past. That is between He and Rihanna, and really, only GOD can judge.
I love the video start to finish. The lyrics, the style, the dancing, especially the part with this little boy, and the part at the end in the desert. Plus this video features Cassie, so how could I not love it? I LOVE her!
Good Luck Chris.

I have been listening to Itzhak Perlman's Schindler's List on repeat for what seems like forever now. This piece of audio art has to be one of the most profound compositions classical music has to offer. I am so moved. I have always been the most inspired by "the human condition". The way we feel is what ultimately determines where we end up at the end of our lives. How we feel is our driving force. Itzhak Perlman's piece of music explores the condition of humanity so thoroughly that it leaves you breathless, simply with a violin and a bow.
So here is to humanity: the things we love, the things we've lost, and the things we will never forget.

And I'm back on my grind.
A psychic read my lifeline
Told me in my lifetime
My name would help light up the Chicago Skyline
And that's why I'm
Seven o'clock, that's primetime
Heaven'll watch God calling from the hotlines
Why he keep givin' me hot lines?
I'm a star, how could I not shine?
And I wonder, if you know, what it means...?
To find you're dreams.

Wow. Some people are just blesssed. Not because they're beautiful, per say, but just because you know she doesn't have to put much effort into their beauty. They just wake-up, throw on some liner and gloss, throw on a designer gown and walk out the door. Cassie, I am sure, is one of those people. Exceptional.
#6: Weekend Stay at Hotel Fasano, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil
Anyone would be both excited and appreciative for a gift like this. Situalted right on the beach, this new hotel is a little slice of paradise...right on the equator. Close to the best shopping Rio has to offer, the hotel boasts a design profile by none other than Phillip Stark. Does it get any more posh? I don't think so. Hotel Fasano - experience the best.

Ok, I am dyyyyying for a pair of leather leggings. It's all I want at this point. They are the chicest things in the world...both Christmas and my birthday fall in December, so I think I am going to buy myself a pair as a "thank you for being awsome" gift...because let's face it...no one in my family would even think to buy me a pair of these...except my brother, now that I'm thinking about it. He knows me all too well. Anyway, the first pair are by the ever-amazing Maison Martin Mariegla, for about $2k. The middle pair are by Siwy, and they retail for $228. The third pair are by Fendi, and are roughly $1900. Below: Armani Exchange offers a pair that are not asssssss desireable, but are only $295. The last pair are by Alice & Olivia, and go for $330.
