Nicole Kidman For Chanel No. 5

I was watching an interview with Baz Luhrmann when I decided to finally post this video. This is the commercial Nicole Kidman did for Chanel back in 2004/2005, and it still facinates me the same way now that it did then. So completely beautiful.

Jude Law for Martini Russia

I've never really been a huge Jude Law fan...but he looks good here. Very dapper. Charming. I like.

The Sun Set's On Yet Another Seattle Day

So I've been thinking a lot lately about what my next move is going to be. I really want to live abroad: London, Prague, Rome or Hong Kong. I was at Purple Cafe & Wine Bar last Friday with two acquaintances, when this subject came up. My friend, who seems to have traveled everywhere, said that London, in his opinion, was the center of the world. I then divulged that I'd been considering the University of London, which, in his opinion, made me uber-cool. I don't think I've ever been that encouraged by someone I am just getting to know. I was pleasantly surprised. Sometimes all you really need is a word of encouragement.

Botox Looks Good On You.

Her Chanel sunnies are absolutely killer. And so is her eyebrow arch...literally. You know what though, I can't even hate on Kim Kardashian at this point. She is rich and absolutely gorgeous. That's not really a valid reason to not like someone. Keep doing your thing, Kim. Whatever that "thing" may be.

Mondrian South Beach

As many of you may know, Architectural/Interior design is a huge inspiration to me. I love it. Whenever I'm designeing clothes, I always incorporate alot of the same elements into my own pieces. I am also one of those people, which I've stated before, who could live in a hotel and be perfectly comfortable. I'm wierd, lol.

Summer Never Looked So Good

Kourtney Kardashian in Miami. I love this look. I never really thought to pair a jumper with a blazer. It almost seems like an oxymoron. But this, I love. I think I am going to have to recreate this for myself - but I'll use maybe a black velvet blazer with a champaign silk jumper. Throw on some diamond studs, a mid-sized clutch and a pair of YSL tributes (as seen on Kourtney) and you're good to go. Perfect for date night at Purple Cafe or Barrio downtown. (tfs)

Oscar After Party - Jenny Lo

I love this! This was actually the only thing I liked the entire night. I thought Oscar Fashion in general was super boring this year, although the show itself was pretty good.
I'm going to be honest and say that I haven't really liked anything JLo's worn since her Ben Affleck days. Even during that period you could kind of see the beginning of the end for her fashion wise. In this photo, she's got the hair back, the big earrings in and she's ready to rock.
JLo, we've missed you.

Cassie At AF Vandevorst

More Cassie. I know this is annoying, lol, but you guys know I love Cassie!

PFW: Lanvin Fall/Winter 10.11

So this isn't anything new from Alber Elbaz, this is very typically Lanvin. It actually reminds me of his Fall/Winter 2004 collection - the collection that first made me notice him as a designer. As always, we want our designers to push forward and give us something new each time they show, but I actually really like this collection and the ways that he touched on, yet deferred some of his previous collections. I really like the Cleopatra-ish references in the clothing and the styling. It would be interesting to see if he continues with this concept next season...just pushing it farther a bit.

Isabel Marant Fall/Winter 10.11

If I had to say only one thing about Isabel Marant, it's that she's consistant. I really love what she did this season. Cozy knit tops with ultra skinny trousers. I'm also a big fan of the sequins. I think we are going to see more of that in seasons to come. A few companies touched on the idea last season, J. Crew stands out to me because I almost bought a pair from them, lol, but I think it's a trend in the making.

Cassie Takes In Paris

Loving PFW! Everyone's stepping their game up!

Lights! Camera! Action!

I am freaking out! The lights apparently just went down at Dior...and right before that happened she strolled in...looking like this...it doesn't get any more heavenly than Charlize. She's so elegant! Sophisticated! Amazing! There will be more pictures posted of this when I fine them, lol. For right now, this one from twitter will do (vogueparislive).
Man, I'm in love.

Charlize Keeps It Movin' In Paris.

(tfs)

I Like It But I Don't.

I love this color on her but I don't like jumpsuits. I also love the pairing of the nude pumps with the green, and the nude nail color...but I don't like the hair. I usually love flowey fabric...but I'm not really feelin' it here. I give it a 7.5 out of 10.

PFW: Balmain Fall/Winter 10.11

I'm starting to think Decarnin is a one trick pony. I feel horrible for saying that, but as of right now...that's how I feel. I am so...let down by this collection. I was expecting to be wowed. To be awed. instead I found myself clicking through picture after picture to find something I actually liked. 4 out of 36 looks. That's it. And the last look is REACHING! There's still hope for show season...we still have Vuitton, YSL, McCartney, Lanvin, etc to go. I'm hoping someone pulls through and excites me.

PFW: Gareth Pugh Fall/Winter 10.11

This is the first collection I've loved thus far (for F/W 10.11). I am so happy PFW has finally kicked off.
Gareth is such an underrated desginer, I feel. I'm finding myself loving any and everthing he creates. In the video I'ves posted from Style.com, Time Blanks describes this collection as edgy and glamorous, which I totally agree with.
My love for this collection is making me wonder if I am moving towards a moodier, darker sense of style. I think this is the direction in general fashion might be moving in...we'll see. I hope not though. The last thing I want to see is everyone dressing in goth.
"Poetically industrial"...I like this.

PFW: Cassie At Gareth Pugh

I'm really loving this! I really want to do something different for the summer! You know, I really wish Cassie would become more of a fashion personality. She is such an amazing canvas, and can go in so many different directions. I feel like she has so much potential. I hope while she was at the Gareth Pugh show she scored some freebies. She'd look amazing in it.

Charlize Theron! So Chic!

I am going to copy this look, exactly! I don't ususally do that, but damn it, she's on fire! I am in love, love, love.
