When I find something I love, I become obsessed with it.  I love hard.  It’s just who I am.  The interesting part is that this particular aspect of my personality translates to all aspects of my being, including my obsession with style and love of fashion. 

I have just recently come across the brand Tateossian and I have to say, some of the items they carry are exactly my style.  Like the item pictured above.  At $425 and featuring stingray (OBSESSED) detail, this is something that I would absolutely love to own. 

Maybe when it goes on sale, perhaps?

Style Obsession – The PS11

The PS11 by Proenza Schouler has been on my mind every since seeing it on Mary Kate & Ashley Olson.  It’s the perfect size and comes in an array of finishes and colors. 

I’m actually just really proud of my guys.  I remember back in 20o4 when they were first starting out.  They were just so unpretentious, as opposed to the seasoned professionals.  I wish them nothing but the best.  And that they never lose that aspect of their combined fashion personality.

I just got my plane ticket to San Francisco for NYE…I am quite excited to go home for a bit.  I’m even thinking about booking an additional trip to Los Angeles…

So…I’ve been obsessed with Sephora by OPI nail color for the past several months now, so I thought it was time to do an official blog post on them.  I usually stick to the classic deep reds and pale pinks, but since being introduced to this line, I wear everything from lavender to jade green.  A few of my favorites include A True Romantic, Metrochic (LOVE), Under my Trench Coat, I’m With Brad, Opening Night ( LOVE) and Rumba Romance.  You know what?  I just love them all…!

I’m in Love…I’m in Love!

I have always been known as a big city girl – a reputation that I take full ownership of.  I love big cities.  The more overwhelming, the better.  I love the sense of power I get from being surrounded by skyscrapers and high rises.  It fuels my belief of anything being possible.  Anything is achievable.

Yet the truth is, the beach is what makes my heart race.  I love it.  I remember being a kid and just running around the beach each Shabbat with my brother.  That’s the stuff my dreams are made of.

I have to apologize, yet again, for my absence. My life has been beautifully intense as of late - so many different projects going on at once. I'm hoping that this hiatus will not be an extended one, and that I can get back to my blogging roots. This is, essentially, what I love to do.

I have to say this, though. Looking at this picture reminds me of where I am going with my life. It's easy to get distracted by those who are in your life, and aren't supposed to be. You can't let anyone distract you from what you are trying to achieve, including yourself. You have to know when to say when. Know when to let go. Know when to take flight.

Roatan, Islas de la Bahia, Honduras

 

So, as you all know, I went home to Roatan, Honduras back in June.  It was an amazing experience to say the least.  The food, the scenery, the people, everything.  There were so many highlights…I think one of my favorite memories was West Bay…I love it there!  The water is crystal clear and so warm.  It feels like bath water!  It was crazy!  I also loved Sandy Bay – it was so much more quiet and peaceful than where we were staying – and there were so many stars in the sky, which were perfectly visible from there.  And then the nightlife in West End was AMAZING!  That in and of itself yields so many stories…lol…that I’ll keep to myself.  But I think the part that I loved the most, but also presented the biggest challenge, was meeting so many different family members, all at once.  So many eyes and so many opinions.  So many different people to focus on individually.  That was hard.  But everyone was warm and friendly, for the most part, and that I can appreciate.  Really can’t wait to go back and explore Roa a little deeper.  It is, after all, my home.
